JUST THE JOB NEWS FLASH

TVNZ are repeating the Public Health Special programme from Series 5 of Just the Job on Sunday 5th February 2012 at 5.00pm on TV2. The programme profiles careers in Health Protection, Public Health Medicine and Community Health Work.  Just the Job is a TV series that gives high school students a unique up-close and personal insight into the myriad of career paths on their doorstep and elsewhere in New Zealand.  In each career, a high school student is mentored on-the-job for a day. CULTURAL AND LINGUISTIC DIVERSITY TRAINING
Free online and face to face CALD training courses to help people develop cultural competence. 

HEALTH PROMOTION SHORT COURSE 
Certificate of Achievement in Introducing Health Promotion.  Students are introduced to the principles, concepts and practice of health promotion.   Courses are part time in two blocks of four days each.
