Public health: Just the Job televison show

What is Just the Job?
Just the Job is a TV series of 10 episodes that gives high school students a unique up-close and personal insight into the myriad of career paths on their doorstep and elsewhere in New Zealand. In each career, a high school student is mentored on-the-job for a day. The high school student gets a real taste of what the career is about.
Series Five of Just the Job 2010
Series five of Just the Job is currently screening at 9.30am on Saturday mornings on TV2. One of the programmes in series five featured a half-hour showcase of "what is public health" and three exciting public health careers:
- Trieste Ngawhika - a health protection officer working in Tauranga
- Neil de Wet - a public health doctor (also a medical officer of health) from Tauranga, and Michael Baker - a public health doctor working as a lecturer/researcher for Otago University
- Iwi Te Whau jr - a public health community health worker based in Rotorua.
